About Me
My path into tech started with people, systems, and a never-ending curiosity. Today, I am a Senior Software QA Engineer and Full-Stack Contributor specializing in SDET methodologies. I build resilient, enterprise-grade automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines that empower teams to move faster with confidence. What sets me apart is the perspective I bring: having worked across product strategy, quality assurance, and software development, I try to understand the “why” behind a problem before jumping into the “how.”
Background
I began my career with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology, where I learned how to analyze complex problems, measure outcomes, and translate data into meaningful action. To broaden my understanding of business strategy and connect people with execution, I earned my M.S. in Management. This foundation naturally led me into Product Management, where I spent years leading cross-functional Scrum teams to ship software that solved real problems.
However, the more time I spent around engineering teams, the more curious I became about how things were built. That curiosity pulled me deeper into the technical side, transitioning me from high-level product strategy into my current focus on engineering and test automation.
Expertise
Quality Assurance & SDET
Quality is the bridge between technical execution and user trust. I specialize in designing highly scalable Playwright automation engines. Recently, I engineered a Dynamic Role Registry for a complex financial services platform, eliminating boilerplate and handling multi-role API authentication without requiring underlying infrastructure changes. By focusing on authentication state reuse and test extensibility, I’ve optimized execution times to achieve a 6.5x speed increase in local testing, projecting significant time recovery for engineering teams.
Engineering & Architecture
Engineering is the clinical application of logic to solve human problems. I apply systematic rigor to software architecture across the modern stack:
Frontend & Logic: Building responsive, type-safe interfaces using TypeScript, React, Angular, and Tailwind CSS.
Backend & Runtimes: Architecting high-performance services with Go, TypeScript, and C#/.NET, utilizing PostgreSQL for robust data persistence, while continuously exploring modern runtimes like Deno and Hono.
Infrastructure & Automation: Streamlining the path to production through CI/CD excellence using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Docker.
Custom Utilities: Enhancing developer productivity through custom applications, such as a Go-based CLI tool for automated test plan generation.
By integrating emerging AI technologies into this stack, I focus on building products that aren’t just technically sound, but are intelligently designed to meet the evolving needs of the end user.
Product Management
My background in product allows me to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications. I excel at balancing feature development with technical debt reduction, ensuring that the applications we deliver are both highly stable and innovative.
Philosophy
I believe technology is at its best when it serves the people behind the screen. Whether working in fintech, healthtech, or anything in between, my goal is not just to solve a technical challenge, but to empower users and teammates. I am committed to writing code that is maintainable, testable, and documented—every line should be understandable by future maintainers and serve a clear, people-focused purpose.
The best code is no code at all. The second best code is code that is clear and simple.
